Insight Globes

The ideal desk accessory for anyone needing a bit of escapism without even having to leave your chair. Whether you're checking where it is exactly you're going on holiday or where the latest world news is happening, Insight World Globes are ideal for all ages.
With clearly defined maps and a curiously addictive swivel-and-tilt action, the metal globes can be used either as an educational aid for children or as a stressbuster at work.
Adding to the colourful range of globes available, we have even produced the world's smallest illuminated globe: 13cm in diameter; with two levels of detail, quality metal construction, easy-to-change bulb, mains adaptor and detachable cable.
( N.B. Unlike the swivel-and-tilt globes, the illuminated version rotates on one
axis only. Also note that these globes are fitted with UK-style 3-prong electrical plug,
which is not suitable for worldwide use without an adaptor).
And, now, a "floating" globe, 10cm diameter, which uses an in-built computer
chip to control steady levitation in its cradle, adjusting the magnetic field 16,000 times
per second!
Key Features:
- Lightweight, with a stylish, black, stable weighted base
- Swivel and Tilt mechanism makes globe-trotting fun
- Precision printed with accurate up-to-date map features
- Sizes: 10cm (unlit), 13cm (illuminated)
