Mardi Gras. Held at downtown Disney and Universal Studios City Walk. Don't miss the chance to celebrate the season of all party seasons, New Orleans-style with jazz bands, Cajun food, and performers.
Gay Day. Each June, Orlando's amusement parks host more than 100,000 gays and lesbians who come with their friends and families for special events held at Walt Disney World and Universal Studios.
Fourth of July. Even larger crowds and bigger fireworks celebrate the nation's birthday throughout Disney and Universal Studios.
Official Disneyana Convention. Serious fans and collectors descend on Epcot in September for a week of memorabilia auctions, seminars, trading, and special tours.
International Food and Wine Festival. Where better to have wine tastings, cooking demonstrations, and appearances by celebrity chefs than at Epcot's World Showcase? Held from late October to late November.
Halloween. Celebrated at venues throughout Orlando, but the biggest event, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party - featuring parades, costume contests, tricks or treating, and fireworks - takes place at the Magic Kingdom.
